In The Community
Every year, hundreds of thousands of individuals throughout Oregon and
Southern Washington struggle to fight-off starvation for
themselves and their families. As a company, we agreed that the Oregon Food Bank is our primary charity for their dedication to eliminate hunger in our community. In addition to our fi nancial contributions, our employees sponsor food drives and are given the opportunity to donate their company holiday hams and gifts to OFB.
Oregon Electric Group is committed to promoting opportunities for minority, women and
emerging small businesses (MWESB). As a proud member of OAME (Oregon Association of Minority Entrepreneurs), OEG has been able to expand its’ subcontractor network and has welcomed MWESB companies for project collaboration. We feel it our responsibility to aid those emerging businesses through the industry with experience and leadership. MWESB companies are a part of our community and have become a part of our company culture.
In an effort to further diversify the industry, OEG annually supports
an exhibit at the Women in Trades Career Fair. Employees
volunteer time to promote different positions women can fill in the
electrical fi eld, from every craft level to project management.
OEG also sponsors employees in events, such as: LiveStrong Challenge, Habitat for Humanity, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Walk for CysticFibrosis, Hood-to-Coast, and the Oregon Air Show.
